My dear readers, allow me to make up for the misery of a broken game by resolving the cliffhanger you were left with in the last chapter of Rebel Revelations…
Kai breathed deeply, watching Constance closely. The woman seemed disinclined to move out of the bed, probably because she knew all too well that it would be the work of a moment to catch Kai if she ran in her weakened state.
Her mind whirring furiously, Kai drew herself to her full height. Perhaps there was a way out of this. Perhaps there was a way to convince Constance that punishment was not the answer. She would not end up over this woman’s lap without a fight, that was for sure, though the fight did not have to be a physical one.
“What am I going to do with you, I think that is a better question,” Kai said, her tone forthright and assured.
Constance quirked an eyebrow in surprise. “What on earth do you mean?”
Awwww.
Poor Kai. I was kinda irked with her, but now I feel bad. Constance isn’t so awful, Kai should try trusting her. That isn’t her nature, but…*sigh* Refusing to yield to anyone but Rael is pretty exhausting. Then again, sometimes I kind of understand that about Kai. Sometimes refusing to yield is the only thing one really has control over in their life.
Kai’s attempt to lecture Constance was greatly amusing. *grin* She has more guts than I do.
Yay Loki!!! Your stories make me think and feel and contemplate things. That’s pretty freaking awesome, actually.
I’m sorry about the game, I hope you don’t feel bad.

Thinking and feeling and contemplating are all most excellent uses of existence. Kai can be very irksome indeed, I agree, though personally I usually find Lucy more irksome on an average day.

I’m all for yielding to only one person. If I had to choose between Rael and Big Meanie–I would choose Rael, hands down–or would that be pants down?
I laughed so hard at Kai lecturing Constance. It was a good effort on Kai’s part trying to avoid a spanking.
Thank you so much for the “make up” chapter, but it wasn’t necessary.

So instead I will say it was very well written, a logical conclusion considering how much Kai had been pushing things, and…now what was that last thing I was thinking? Oh yeah — hot! *vbg* Thanks for this wonderful chapter to keep us…occupied…while you beat your game into submission.

That Constance is a hard woman. I still like her, but poor little Kai is still sick! I felt so sorry for her, going off to cry all alone. Lucy will just have to kiss her better when she re-appears.
