People are complaining about the lack of updates in the last 24 hours. I’d beat them, but I can’t reach them, so instead, here is some mild entertainment. I don’t have any new stories today. Due to my recent deathly illness, I am waaayyy behind on work at the moment, so I need to get that stuff cleared away before I can post more stories. So this has nothing to do with spanking, but as this blog is very quickly becoming an experiment in ‘What I Did Today’, I thought I would post this here anyway.

Threesomes. What’s the deal with threesomes? Why are they so prominent in the fantasy psyche? And why is it almost always just one extra person that people want?

(For the purposes of this discussion, I am talking about the vanilla threesome, where a couple ropes in a third party for a night of sex and no relationships are formed or further commitments made.)

It seems to me that a threesome is just an excuse to fuck someone else without technically cheating on your partner. The sentiment of not wanting to cheat is nice and all, but if we look at the actual problems people have with cheating (like, you know, the fact that your boyfriend / girlfriend just had sex with another person), then threesomes sort of become almost worse than cheating because now you’re selling tickets to the show and everyone gets to watch the infidelity go down (and maybe even partake in it too.) Is that what makes it okay? Simultaneous cheating with the same person? So any resentments or jealousies will be theoretically balanced out between the original partners?

Well haven’t we all been having fun lately! It’s great to see all the chatter on the comments, I’m going to try and make things a little bit easier for everyone with following discussions and whatnot by setting up a forum. A shiny shiny forum, where people can make their own posts and share stuff and you know, make fun of waxed porn stars (although waxed porn stars are people too, you know).

Thanks for being understand everyone whilst I mess with ads and whatnot, and for having a good sense of humor about finding a vagina in your face all of a suddenly. You guys rock

So I’m writing this Rebel Revelations story, right? And it’s going pretty well, but I’m getting real busy at the moment because I have to write two ebooks in the Finn series. So I don’t know how regular updates are going to be.

So someone was all ‘You should let your readers know’, and I’m all ‘Why? They’re totally cool. They know how it is. They’re down with everything.’

And someone was all ‘That makes no sense, if you let people know, then they would understand why you’re not posting and then they wouldn’t be confused and feel like lonely abandoned lambs.’ (I may be embellishing the someone bit here slightly.)

So then I was like ‘People can sign up for email updates.’

And then someone got all lecturey and everything.

So my dearest readers, updates may be irregular. Which will be no great surprise to you because everything is wildly irregular around here. But good things take time. And temporal irregularities.

I’m absolutely disgusted that Texas allows schools to ‘paddle’ children in their care. Either every single adult in the Texas legislation is an innocent lamb, pure as the driven snow and they have no idea that striking a person on the buttocks stimulates blood flow and occasional feelings of (in this case, probably) unwanted arousal, or they’re fine with effectively mandating what amounts to a brutal, cruel and unusual sexual practice for use on children.

Spanking is super if you’re an adult who has the ability to consent to it, if you’re a helpless child being struck by moronic adults because they can’t figure out how to mold productive behavior by other means, then it is abuse.

I’d call them perverts, but to be honest, that would be unfair to perverts. At least most perverts know to relegate activities involving people’s bottoms to the places where they belong, in consensual relationships between adults.

I’m sick of hearing adults complain that kids need ‘their asses whipped.’ No they don’t. If you’re a parent, you need to man, (or woman) the fuck up and realize that being a parent should never involve ritual humiliation or the striking of a child. Parents control their children’s entire worlds, from what they eat, to where they sleep, who they talk to and what they play with and yet some parents can’t figure out ways to encourage good behavior without resorting to physical violence.  From this we can safely draw the conclusion that some parents are evidently gormless morons who should never have been allowed to breed.

Nobody ever suggests we should hit adults, do they? You never hear about these hardliners campaigning for people who break the law to be spanked. Why? Because adults can hit back.

It’s pure cowardice to hit a child, and with study after study having showed that spanking causes aggression issues in children, the fact that Texas has seen fit to institutionalize child abuse is sickening.

Spanking is for adults.
